Ramón Gómez Cornet (1898 – 1964)

He attended the Colegio Marista of Lujan. He was an Argentine painter, one of the forerunners of the modern Argentine painting. He studied his art in Barcelona and Paris and was influenced by artists like Cezanne and Renoir. During his life he made around 1500 works, including oils, watercolors, pastels, drawings and prints. Cornet also served as a diplomat and a university professor
